SDRAM
Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory
SDRAM is a type of RAM memory and it is capable of synchronizing itself in terms of processing speed with that of the Laptops processor.
With both units processing at the same speed this allows much faster and efficient data processing than a standard Ram - processor set up..
Serial Port
A Serial Port is a communication port found on Laptops that enable it to communicate with other peripherals electronically.
Serial Ports can only transmit data sequentially which basically means one bit at a time were a parallel port can transmit multiple bits of data (eight bits at a time).
Sound Card
A sound card is a hardware component that connects inside your Laptop to the motherboard and produces all the sounds such as music for your computer.
Some motherboards have sound cards built in but these sometimes tend to be limited.
Other sound cards have multiple outputs such as Dolby 5.1 and can operate at a higher frequency giving an all round better sound quality.

The connection between your computer and the server is very secure and encrypted. This allows you to securely execute commands such as change file permissions, copy, delete, move etc.
Spam
We’re pretty confident that if you already use an email client with your Laptops such as microsofts outlook express then you will already have had some experience with spam emails.
Basically it is unsolicited emails that just simply clog up your inbox and are generally a bit of an annoyance.
Example emails are: Designer jewelry/clothing, foreign lottery wins, viagra!, dating sites and also some foreign politician informing you that their king or president has died and has left them millions of pounds but they need a bank account to process this money and therefor ask for your bank details for you to process it and receive a very nice commision.
Please be very wary of spam email and NEVER reply to it (even if you are unsubscribing in the hope that they don’t email you again) as all this will do is confirm that your email address actually exists.

SSL is a technology developed so that you can transmit information securely over the internet such as credit card details or personal information. When using a Laptop and are shopping on a website you can tell that you are in a SSL as your web browser will display the secure padlock and the wesites address will begin with HTTPS (the S meaning secure) as opposed to the normal HTTP.
Server
Web Server / Email Server
A server is a computer (usually in a data center) that controls and allows the transferring / sharing of files and data between many other computers (usually across a network such as the internet).
For example a web sever will have all the files, html web pages, dynamic content and images for a website(s) and allow Laptop users to view the webpages when connecting through the internet but will not allow them to alter or edit them in any way.
An Email server just simply handles all it’s clients emails by transferring and storing them.

What search engine optimization is is the use of many different techniques and creative methods used to optimize a website for search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN Search, AOL, AllTheWeb etc so that it can achieve a good ranking for it’s chosen search terms.
For example if you were interested in Laptops and was looking for more information or place to purchase then you would most likely type in the search terms Laptop, Laptops, Laptop sales, Cheap Laptops etc and many Laptop webistes would show up on your search results.
